  9. Recent Information About Installing and Using VirtualDrive 6.2

  12. This document contains last minute technical information regarding the installation 
  13. and use of VirtualDrive 6.2.  
  14.  
  15. VirtualDrive allows you to make personal copies of your application and audio CDs. 
  16. This makes using CD based applications much more convenient and reduces the chances
  17. of losing or damaging costly CDs.
  18.  
  19. The following are important issues relating to the use of VirtualDrive.

  21. New Major Features

  23. 1. Fully compatible with Windows XP 
  24. 2. Create VCDs from additional CD types:
  25. CD-ROM, CD-Audio, DVD-Video and DVD-ROM(data mode)(Windows98/ME), Video-CD,  Photo-CD, 
  26. Mixed Mode-CD
  27. 3. More Intuitive Interface allow you to drag-and-drop to add VCDs or to insert or eject
  28. VCDs
  29. 4. Customized CD-ROM now supports up to 1GB with the following limitations:
  30. total number of files: 32767
  31. max directory levels: 15  (Ref. ISO 9002 standard)
  32. max length of path and file name: 128 bytes  (ISO 9660 standard)
  33. 5. Multiple Language Support - setup determines the language of your system and 
  34. installs the appropriate language files. English, Chinese (traditional and simplified), 
  35. Japanese, French, Germany, Italian, Korean, and Spanish are all supported.
  36. 6. Audio CD and Mixed Mode CDs are fully supported .
